WellSpoeled Productions is in the business of developing, producing, distributing, and financing of film and television productions, including content transmitted by our clients (Business). From time to time, we will need to collect, have disclosed to us, hold, use and disclose personal information in order to conduct our Business (Purpose).

This Policy outlines the processing of information provided or collected on the sites and applications where this Privacy Policy is posted, whether on our own site or via third-party sites or platforms (for example, application processing). Please keep in mind that when information is provided to us via a third-party site or platform, the information given may be separately collected by the third-party site or platform. The information collected via WellSpoeled Productions sites is protected by our Privacy Policy, and the information collected on third-party sites or platforms is subject to the third-party site or platform’s privacy practices.

Your Information may be disclosed where necessary to fulfil the Purpose, including but not limited to the following:

WellSpoeled Productions Partners; 

Federal and state screen funding agencies, including The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, Screen Australia and CreateNSW; and

Where required or authorised by law.

Personal Information

Personal Information is information that identifies an individual, including names, country of residence, date of birth, and email address (Personal Information). 

WellSpoeled Productions collects your Personal Information for the purpose of day-to-day operations in carrying out its Business. WellSpoeled Productions may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the Business, such as where required or requested by WellSpoeled Productions' associates, financiers and clients (WellSpoeled Productions Partners). This includes, but is not limited to:

Information provided to us directly, for example via interviews, email, job applications, pitch submissions, and employment forms;

Information received by third parties, for example via applications, ‘following’ or ‘liking’ WellSpoeled Productions on social media; and/or

Data and analytics information collected when you interact with us via our website or social media accounts. This includes IP address, type of device, and browser information collected to improve the platforms.

Sensitive Information

Occasionally we may collect sensitive information from you. This is a type of Personal Information and may include information about health, ethnicity, or membership of a professional or trade union. Sensitive Information is only collected if necessary to our Business and the administration of our Business and if voluntarily supplied by the individual. You may withdraw your consent to the collection of your Sensitive Information at any time by contacting us.

Sharing your Information with WellSpoeled Productions 

We use Personal Information for the purpose of which it was collected, or for a purpose reasonably collected to that purpose. If we seek to use your personal information for any other reason, we will first seek your consent. 

Sharing and collection of your information via third-parties

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, WellSpoeled Productions will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances WellSpoeled Productions may be provided with information by third-parties or you may provide your Personal Information via third-parties, such as where you have submitted a job application via WellSpoeled Productions' recruitment software. A third-party is a person, public authority or entity other than WellSpoeled Productions from whom it may obtain your Personal Information. This includes the software used for job applications and human resources management. WellSpoeled Productions does not guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

Retention of information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, WellSpoeled Productions will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information.

You may access the Personal Information WellSpoeled Productions hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact WellSpoeled Productions in writing.

In order to protect your Personal Information WellSpoeled Productions may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

It is an important to WellSpoeled Productions that your Personal Information is up to date. WellSpoeled Productions will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information WellSpoeled Productions has is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise WellSpoeled Productions as soon as practicable so it can update our records.
